| How to Add Your Website to our Web Directory |
Here at dotcom Allsorts, we are building the most relevant, informative and user-friendly human edited web directory ever.
You will find the submission form at the bottom of this page.Inclusion in our web directory is hugely beneficial to online businesses and webmasters. Having your website listed in our directory means that your "advert" is being seen by our website visitors. Getting listed also improves your ranking in all the major search engines, which brings your website even more traffic. We have three types of link submission options to suit your needs. (free or paid)
All our link options feature your website title, link url and website description, but some have more features. They are: 1. Featured One Way Link
This is our most lucrative link submission option, guaranteed to get your website seen.
It's a ONE WAY link, which means that you DON'T have to place a link back to us on your website.
This is especially ideal for higher search engine placement as one way links score much higher in search engines that conventional link exchanges. Featured Links include:
* a position at the TOP of the relevant category. (above the regular alphabetical links)
* larger bolder fonts in link title and description, plus a different background colour.
* a thumbnail picture of your website.
* search engine optimized links to help search engine placement of your website.
* Google Page Rank display
* a prominent Visit This Website link

In a nutshell, Featured Links are bigger and better adverts for your business. 2. One Way Link
This option is not as prominent and and don't have as many features as Featured Links.
They sit underneath any Featured Links in a category.
However, this option is a ONE WAY link, which means that you DON'T have to place a link back to us on your website, and is a good way to gain better search engine placement. Here is a screenshot of a One Way Link or Reciprocal Link:
3. Reciprocal Link
Reciprocal Links look exactly like One Way Links, but this option requires that you place our website link on your website in order for you to have a link on our website.
Because we want our directory to remain relevant and valid, we do have strict submission guidelines. This directory is NOT solely aimed as a SEO tool for webmasters. We want this directory to be a place where customers can find exactly what they want without having to trawl through rubbish.
The following list of guidelines is not exhaustive, but apply when submitting your link:Websites containing pornography, drugs, pharmacy, enlargement products, warez, term papers, hacking resources, tobacco, hate propaganda, adult content and themes or ANY illegal or questionable content will be rejected.Your website cannot be "Under Construction." Finish building your website first.Your website must be in English.Do not submit your website more than once and only submit to one subcategory.Website consisting mainly of affiliate links will not be accepted.Reciprocal Links must have the link back on the SAME domain no more than 2 clicks from the home page. Our link placed on "hidden" links pages is not allowed. We will look at your homepage. If we cannot find any way of getting to your links page from there, then your link will be rejected.Websites with poor design will not be accepted. Websites with lots of pop-ups or made up predominantly of advertisements will not be accepted.Your website must have a proper domain name (yourwebsite.com) and be hosted on a proper web hosting account. i.e. no Freewebs, Homestead, Geocities or similar sites. Blog pages will ONLY be accepted under the Blogs category.We reserve the right to refuse or reject submissions for any reason that do not fall into our criteria, violate our guidelines or are deemed inappropriate.We reserve the right to edit, modify or reject any submission at our discretion.Rejected websites that have paid for inclusion will be refunded within 24 - 48 hours, but, to save us all time, do not submit if your website violates our guidelines.We reserve the right to modify these guidelines at any time without prior notice.If your website violates any of the guidelines above, then do not submit your link.
